This is very important especially when you live in a hot place. You need at least 8 glasses of water a day but this number increases when you sweat a lot due to physical activity or the climate. Limit intake of beverages that can cause dehydration like alcoholic drinks and those that contain caffeine.

Take Balanced Diet:
 Balance is the key to having a healthy diet. You need to eat a wide variety of unprocessed foods like fruits, vegetables, starchy food, and lean protein sources. You need the right ratio of fat, carbohydrates, and protein.

Increase Calcium Intake:
 Calcium is a very important mineral not just for healthy bones and teeth. It is also vital for other bodily functions like the contraction of muscle

Take  Daily Dose of Vitamin D

 If people start with the understanding that stress is an event or a force that upsets a balance, they can begin to see some of the ways that they might be affected by stress. Seeing clearly where undesirable stress occurs in one’s life is the first step in managing it. One can examine how stress affects his or her body, emotions and thoughts.


Physical or External Stress


Physical or external stress, stress which affects the body, is the most straightforward and easy to identify. When people work too hard, stay up too late, or eat and drink too much, they feel the direct physical results of these actions. They are more likely to sleep poorly and feel tired and ill

Some external stresses seem beyond one’s control. The stress of a job that is boring, unrewarding or excessively demanding can make one miserable and more prone to illness. However, it is more difficult to correct this kind of problem than it is to eat a healthy diet or get more sleep


Emotional Stress


Psychological or emotional stress may seem less concrete, but it has an equally definite effect on an individual’s health and well-being. Being able to identify areas of psychological stress is challenging, but important since they may have an even greater impact on one’s happiness than physical or external stress.


When people are lonely, depressed or unhappy, they are more likely to become sick and less likely to enjoy the things that should give them pleasure. When people have any type of stress that exceeds what they can comfortably manage, they are much more likely to become depressed and anxious.


Stress and Distortions in Thinking


Stress also affects what people think. When individuals are very stressed, particularly if they become anxious or depressed, their ability to think clearly and objectively may be affected. People can easily feel less capable or weaker than they truly are, and think that their situation is much worse than it really is.


 This is not necessarily so because people’s thoughts can be completely untrue. An exaggerated inaccurate thought such as “I’m totally worthless,” may be believed because the feeling behind it is true; it reflects a true feeling of despair or hopelessness.


People sometimes deny that their thinking is affected by their feelings. Believing distorted or negative thoughts makes it more difficult to work effectively to address one’s problems. If individuals really believe that everything is hopeless and that they will never do anything right


. If one is depressed and feels hopeless enough, sometimes it seems easier to throw up his or her hands in despair than to deal with the real problems. The only way to know if a thought is accurate is to look directly at the thought as it occurs and examine it.

This is something that triggers a moment of gratitude. It can be a person, a specific time, an object etc. and whenever you see it you take a moment to reflect on all the things you’re grateful for.

We all want to be happier and live more fulfilling lives. The question is: How? We pursue success, relationships, hobbies, etc. but what do you do when it still feels like something is missing? The answer is in your thoughts.

A growing body of research has found that practicing grateful thinking is key to being happier, healthier and having better relationships.

How Far You Have Come


 If you want to be happy you need to forget about the negative things in the past, When you take time to remember the challenges you’ve overcome, it can heighten your feelings of gratitude in the present. The key is to focus on being grateful for the progress you’ve made instead of resenting the ways difficult times have held you back.

I love The Five Minute Journal because it gives you questions that only take 5 minutes a day to answer and realize all of the wonderful things in your life. Keep it by your bedside to use first thing in the morning or before you go to sleep. Or, bring it with you to work and fill it out as a midday happiness boost.

Being Thankful is Sexy


It is found that couples who frequently show gratitude toward each other have greater satisfaction in their relationships because it creates a feedback loop of trust and intimacy.

Think about it: would not you feel more loved if your partner told you on a regular basis why they are grateful to be with you? Plus, the more you reflect on the amazing qualities your partner has, the happier you are to be with them.

Prosperity has different meanings to different people. For some, prosperity is about the accumulation of wealth in the form of money, real estate and equities. For others, prosperity is about the accumulation of power and the achievement of status that comes with the appointment to business or government positions


9. Don’t Do Evil to Others. Evildoing is a dangerous habit, a kind of reflex too quickly resorted to and too easily justified that has a lasting and damaging effect upon the quest for the good life. Harming others claims two victims—the receiver of the harm, and the victimizer, the one who does harm

 Everyone wants to live a good life, some even dream about having a great life! Most people wanted to have a good life, but unfortunately, most of them are not living the life they want.

Living life on purpose

Successful people who have accomplished outstanding result in their lives have a clear purpose.

They know what they want to do with their lives and they have a reason, a strong one to wake up each morning

When you have no reason and you do not know what you want to accomplish in your life, you will wake up without purpose and feel tired every morning.
Thus, you must start your day great with a clear purpose

Your dreams will guide you and they will drive you to go through life. They give you a clear sense of direction and they let you know what you need to do to get there.

All successful people have a dream. You must do the same

If you haven’t found your dream yet, do not settle and keep looking. Having a dream that motivates you, drives you and able to guide you in life is the number one key to living a good life.

Going through life without having a dream is like losing direction and getting lost.

Let passion drives you

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.

Do you know that setting goals are important in life

Not only that your goals can guide you, but they can also give you hope and they allow you to measure your progress.

However, after a week, you feel lost because you did not see any result coming in. And after that, you slowly let go on it and eventually forget about it.

They did not write down their goals and they never review their goals.

Here’s a powerful principle you must remember when it comes to goal achievement, “What is out of sight, will be out of your mind.”

It is true that you should focus most of your energy into your MIG (Most-Important-Goal), but you must have more goals, big and small, to make your life more colorful and interesting.

Save as much as you can



What it means is that you have to help and contribute as much as you can.
Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile

Do more good, help others, and always contribute back to the society. You can call it Karma or whatever word you prefer, this is the golden rule of life

It is said that if you want to get rich, you have to make others rich. You have to create values for them, help people to solve their problems and get them what they want.

Try to smile and greet a stranger in the lift, I can be sure that he or she will smile back and greet you.

When you donate some money to people who are in need, you know deep within you that you have more than enough and you are willing to share
As a result, you will feel good. And when you feel good, good things will come to you.

What you can do is to start small. You don’t have to go out and donate millions; you can start off by helping others or donate a small percentage of your money.

Keep yourself healthy



You cannot live a good life without having a good health to enjoy your life.

Living your life with a good health and going through every day with energy are often underestimated by most people.

If you are healthy right now, it does not mean that you will continue to be healthy all the time. You need to take care and prevent yourself from falling ill.

And without good energy, you can never be productive. Some people feel sleepy in the day because they sleep late or they took alcohol the night before

Some people are always tired because they do not exercise and they have never sweat through their body for a long time.

Never let this happen to you. Make sure you are healthy and full of energy.

Sleep well 

Eat healthily

Stop smoking and less alcohol

Exercise more

Be and stay happy


Living a good life requires happiness. To be and stay happy all the time

It is simple, just focus on things that make you happy, and you will feel the joy. And if you focus and think about things that make you upset, you will feel the sadness in you.

Change your thoughts and your focus; you can change your feelings and emotion

 Your progress will make you happy and satisfy as well.

Satisfaction comes along with progress. This is why people set goals and then measure their progress

When you know you are moving forward toward living your dream life each day, you will feel happy and fulfill.
